I design products. My curiosity drives me to elaborate on questions and develop solutions. I can direct every phase in a product’s life cycle: from hearing clients and analyzing requirements to prioritizing activities, designing systems, creating specifications, delegating tasks, and transforming demands into work. My leadership style is short- and long-term-oriented, so I am fair and hands-on.

Over the past decade, I’ve accumulated experience in business related to ESGs, sustainability management, knowledge organization, education, and learning. I do front and back-end software development, UX design, branding, and graphic design, both digital and analog.

Some of my skills

Some of my best skills are listening, problem solving, creating, designing and leading.

Listening

I make sure I am asking the right questions and working on the most impactful problem by observing and actively listening to the people around me.

It's a life-changing skill that helps from building relationships to writing good business specifications.

Problem Solving

I am curious about everything and I enjoy exploring and discovering. That enhances my repertoire and gives me a better understanding about how the components of a system works apart and together.

That’s specially useful when analyzing software requirements, mentalizing models, architecting software systems and choosing algorithms and data structures.

Creating

Thinking of new ways to do things is a crucial part of who I am. If there's a better way to do something, I'll be inclined to pursue it.

And that's not solely about UX or Software Design and Development, as that applies for many aspects of my life. From making coffee to making KPIs.

Designing

I notice and appreciate beauty, excellence and skilled performance in all domains of life, from nature to art to mathematics to science to everyday experience.

That's what design is all about: looking not only to current resources and projects or just their direct results, but to envision the long game and play it every single day.

Leading

For me, leading is all about encouraging a group to get things done and preserving harmony within the group by making everyone feel included. That's how I do a good job when organizing activities and seeing that they happen.

Treating all people fairly is one of my abiding principles. I do not let my personal feelings bias decisions about other people. I give everyone a chance.

But if you came here looking for my skills doing business analysis, conducting SCRUM rituals with Jira, Prototyping with Figma, coding with HTML5 + CSS3 / SASS + JavaScript / TypeScript in frameworks like Angular and React consuming RESTful APIs that serve data from MySQL and DynamoDB databases and data warehouses, then please check out this selection of projects.

Snog by Cliqx — Scalable Bus Ticketing White-label and Marketplace Site Solutions

I led a team of three to create white-label and marketplace bus ticketing solutions for a brand called Snog, owned by Cliqx. Snog has a complex system that integrates with multiple GDS, payment gateways and BI. On top of that are the site solutions I've built. They run on Next.js flavored AWS Amplify.

That work impacted thousands of clients' users and, indirectly, millions of their users. We serve multiple privately and publicly traded companies, such as:

Understanding CSS Color Gradients for the Front-end and Data Visualization

T.L.;D.R.: What’s a color gradient anyway? “[A] Color gradient is a set of colors arranged in a linear order” (Wikipedia contributors 2023a). And in the context of a web browser, there’s CSS syntax to declare gradients (MDN contributors 2023a). But to start to master it, we should take a look under the hood. And that’s what this article aims at.

Load runtime information about your web application without recompiling it!

T.L.;D.R.: Store your runtime variables in a properties file, then request it when the application boots. No package per environment is needed, and it also works for feature toggles and build information.

Data Structures in Typescript: Traversable N-ary Tree (part 1)

T.L.;D.R.: Learn how to build a Tree that can be navigated up and down easily. It works for nested menus, folder structures, and even routes.
