Co-design and co-edition of part of The Good Women of China

- 🎓 Academic Project
- 🏆 In 2010, this project was done for the academic discipline Project III at ESPM. It was featured as the best book design of its semester in the 6th ESPM Design Week (2011).
The group produced a mock-up of the story The Girl Who Kept a Fly as a Pet, part of the book The Good Women of China (by Xinran). The original text mixes paragraphs written by Xinrarn while she was the host of a radio program, letters of a listener, and parts of the diary of the main character, the girl who kept a fly. We decided to drastically change the experience of reading this story by re-editing its texts as three independent pieces: a book, a handmade diary, and a Chinese letter, all shipped in the same box.
