Collaborative Branding for the Public Service Tear
- 🏆 Brazilian Design Biennial 2015
- Design Possível
In 2013 and 2014, I participated in this project as a graphic designer and educator by the Design Possível association. It was a collaboration between the City Hall of Guarulhos (SP - Brazil), Pfizer, IncluiMais, Health of the Family Association, and the client, Tear, which purpose is to: work for the equality of and access to social opportunities for those who are socio-emotionally vulnerable or in psychological suffering. Tear also aims to multiply its experience and spread its knowledge for the welfare.
The project included the formation and education of a Brand Kernel inside Tear, a group with a very diverse hierarchy from inside the service that helped the Design Possível team to re-brand the organization with new signatures, corporate identity, brand book, website (still to be released) and many other communication pieces.
- 🏆 And for our honor, in 2015, the Brazilian Design Biennial, held in Florianópolis (SC) and themed Design for everyone, selected this project as part of the category Participatory Design. Design Possível documented this on this post.
Brand management team: Alexandre Lopes, Isadora Candian, Rafael Kryon, and Tear’s Brand Kernel.
This team had the help of many people, and I would like to thank Caio Esteves Branding e Design, owner of Caio Esteves Branding e Design (CEB+D), and Ivo Pons, founder of Design Possível. Without them, it wouldn’t be possible to conclude this project.
